James Davis is a force in comedy. His show, Hood Adjacent with James Davis premiered on Comedy Central to rave reviews, where he explores contemporary urban topics and shares his perspective on the world he grew up in through a unique, hybrid style of comedy that bridges the gap between urban and mainstream comedy. In 2019, James’ released his 1-hour special, James Davis: Live from the Town on Comedy Central. He has hosted Awake: The Million Dollar Game on Netflix, Golf Road Trippin’ on NBC’s Golf Pass, and ADORABLENESS on MTV, a spin-off of their insanely popular show RIDICULOUSNESS. Prior to this, James was a recurring character on Kevin Hart's hit show Real Husbands of Hollywood, a cast member on the improv comedy show, Wild ‘N Out on MTV2 and VH1, and wrote for The Late Late Show with James Corden on CBS. James recently was an executive producer alongside Adam McKay on HBO’s Game Theory with Bomani Jones.
